National Future Day 2023 - our future is bright

On Future Day, girls and boys enthusiastically accompanied their parents to the workplace. At Hügli, there were many exciting things for a group of young people to discover and experience.

Looking over the shoulder

As its name suggests, Future Day aims to shape the future. Girls and boys switch sides. They accompany parents to their workplace for a day. In this way, they get to know untypical fields of work and areas of life and gain experience for life. In this way, horizons open up. Girls and boys gain the courage and self-confidence to take their future into their own hands, free from rigid gender and occupational stereotypes.

At Hügli, we are proud to be part of this initiative and to actively support this cooperation project between schools, the world of work and parents.

"I want to be a product developer at Hügli, then I get to taste such fine ingredients and products all the time."

Sniffing out recipes

This year, the children started the exciting day at Hügli with an insight into the production plant and were then allowed to immerse themselves in the sensory world of our development department. They used all their senses to sniff out recipes, taste spice mixtures and sauces, and guess flavour components.

"Culinary delights".

"Culinary" was of course also a priority during the lunch break and so the children were treated to delicacies from the Hügli kitchen so that they could spend the afternoon strengthened in their professional role to their parents.
